Unfortunate Experience in the Heart of the City
Located in the historic center, Casa San Domenico offers a convenient base to explore Mantua. Situated on a charming little square, it is just a short walk away from the bustling city center. the stylishly decorated rooms create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, allowing guests to unwind after a day of sightseeing. the friendly and efficient concierge ensures a pleasant stay experience.
The lack of a lift and the presence of three flights of stairs, including a narrow winding staircase, may pose difficulties with limited mobility or those carrying heavy luggage.

Everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly helpful and caring (ask for Chico (my favorite friend in Mantova!) and the Hotel is so very beautiful and comfortable. It is truly a gem in Mantova (Mantua), and we will definitely stay there next time we visit. Ottimo Ottimo Ottimo

Rooms beautifully decorated, excellent bathroom. Quiet environment just on the edge of the pedestrian area.
Considerable number of steps to all rooms, especially the top floor. Breakfast facility provided by hotel expensive and not worth paying for. Television could not get any English speaking channel. only one French and one German station. Hotel staff (one man) had no idea how television worked! We did not stay in Arpie because the lower floor was empty and access with only one flight of stairs easier.

The city center location was ideal and made it easy to explore the local area. , the hotel staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We appreciated that they offered a garage for parking, which made it more convenient to leave our car.
The noise level was intolerable, with loud music from a nearby club blaring into our room until the early hours of the morning. the room was advertised with WiFi, but the connection was unreliable and feeble, which made it difficult to stay connected with friends and family.
